The TV Documentary
The 6000 mile Great Loop is far more than the continuous waterway that encompasses the eastern portion of North America including the Atlantic and Gulf Intracoastal Waterways, the New York State Canals, the Great Lakes, the Canadian Heritage Canals and the inland rivers of America’s heartland.
The Great Loop is truly one of the most incredible maritime adventures in the world. It's diversity crosses states as well as international borders. All along her expansive grandeur jobs are created, lives are enhanced, and much of her history remains unknown.
For the pleasure boaters who annually ply her waters many of their lives will be changed through the life long friendships that are forged, and a camaraderie that only one understands when you finally cross your wake and become a LOOPER.
In this documentary we go deep 'inside' the Great Loop, telling the stories of the people, the towns and cities, the nature, and the economic and historical significance along her shores.
